Grand Opening!!
The Gibbs Diesel Mechanics Center had its grand opening on Wednesday, January 29, 2025
in the
Welding/Auto/Manufacturing
building at Ventura College.
Since the program began in 2015, Gibbs Truck Centers has donated
commercial diesel trucks, engine blocks,
tools and lab space,
helped write the curriculum and hired instructors.
The center offers two certificate programs-
Diesel Engine Repair and Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicle
Repair,
and an
Associate of Science Degree in Diesel Mechanics.
Challenge Dairy came to visit Gibbs Truck Centers
in Fresno CA in October 2024!
They were the first to purchase three eMV electric truck and refrigeration combinations in the dairy industry.

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America has done it again,
earning back-to-back wins as the top pick for
Medium-Duty Truck of
the Year from Work Truck.
This marks the fifth time in the award’s 17-year history that Isuzu has claimed the top spot.
The Isuzu team received the award on March 5 at Work Truck Week 2025, held in Indianapolis,
where they were
recognized
for their outstanding achievement in the industry.
